On 8 October 2026, we not only attended this year’s KSW Grazer Steuerdialog in Graz but also had the opportunity to actively contribute to it: our partner Caroline Kindl gave a presentation together with Wilfried Lehner on combating fraud and fiscal criminal law.
The presentation focused on current developments and practical issues at the intersection of tax law and fiscal criminal law, including:
- the instruments for combating fraud and their significance in practice
- fiscal criminal law risks for companies, management and advisors
- how to respond correctly when it matters, for example during tax audits or investigations
- options for prevention and strategic defence
Fiscal criminal law shows time and again that taking the right steps early on can significantly reduce risks.
A heartfelt thank you to the KSW for organising the event and to all 110 participants for the professional exchange. The great interest shows how important dialogue between advisory practice, public administration and practitioners is.
